Bathroom Day 3

Back Home Up Next

12/21/98: The tear-out continues. Today I finished pulling off all the old tile and some parts of the sheetrock. Ro will be emptying the crud into the pile on the side yard tonight. Found some "interesting wiring, framing and plumbing behind the sheetrock. During the whole time the Boy was supervising from the other room... he would look so cute with little safety glasses and a hardhat. I had to replace the temporary shower-head with the old Speakman... there is no substitute! It turns out that the wall is double thickness and plenty deep enough to make a niche for fru-fru, a built in tp holder and a vent for the heater that's off the floor so it won't rust!
