Bathroom Day 5

Back Home Up Next

12/23/99: Today, for a change of pace, I didn't do very much demolition. Tasks for the day included: A run to the dump to get rid of the collection of crud we have made so far. A run to the depot for miscellaneous and sundry items. A run to the tool store to get a new Bosch demolition saw. Then I moved some wiring around to make room so we can scoot the doorway over a few inches to accomodate the new shower. I had to drill a hole through a solid chunk of wood about 12 inches thick and two 2x4's stacked on top of that. I hit a nail on the way through and bent up my brand new long drill bit. (#$%) This also involved a few trips into the attic. While I was up there, I kept hearing the boy getting closer and closer. When I looked down the access hole, I saw the boy climbing up the extension cord. The boy was banished to his room. He knows cord climbing is bad.
