BirdRoom Floor

This was a "quicky" project that I thought would only take one day - replacing the carpet in the birdroom with vinyl flooring. It's going to take a little longer than that. We are in the midst of a little heat-wave and things (I) slow down when it's hot. We are using Armstrong vinyl flooring again. This time, it is a "loose-lay" type that is installed with tape, not glue. I think it turned out pretty nice.

The new Birdroom Floor (09.04.2004 - 09.05.2004)

Here is the original floor in the birdroom. It's filthy, nasty, smelly, disgusting, gross  carpet. Here's a close-up of the bald spots created by the boy.
Ro tore out the old carpet and padding. Then, I started installing the new underlayment.
The traditional penny 2004. The underlayment is in.
