Silly Experiment #1

This is a graph of the temperatures in various locations
of our house over a time period of roughly twenty four hours.

Observations: (Colors of the notes match the colors of the traces the reference)

	The heater cycles on/off more than I expected. The thick dark line runing through the middle of the trace is a sixth order polyfit line created by MSExcel. It reflects the actual setting of the thermostat. (more or less)
	The temperature rise of the xmas light extension cord is surprise! It is a 12 AWG cord! This means a new, separate circuit(s) for the lights next year for sure.
	The attic is proven to be a very effective heat collector even on cold days.
	It gets damn cold in December
	Heat loss through the garage wall can be seen by comparing it's temp with the garage bench temp.
