Offices 2002

Back Up Next

Hellooooo everyone from 3WA! Here's our offices. Yes, we have several. No, we do not have a home business. I am a electro-geek and can't throw anything away so I just keep adding computers to the network. A computer is never done until all the slots are full. Rodotmoe is going to crap since I took these before she had a chance to clean up so here they are in their true natural state.

As usual, click on a thumbnail to see a larger version.

Ro's Work Office View #1: Here is my little piece of heaven (ack). Pardon the boxes, I've been delegated  to sort through more garbage... The cube drawers don't shut all the way, or lock, so I have to trust that someone will always be in the office, so my purse doesn't get stolen.
Ro's Work Office View #2: The glass panels on the actual front door make me feel as though I'm in a fishbowl. Even though I am not allowed the luxury of walls, privacy, or space - the plants allow me to feel some seclusion and privacy in which to concentrate, of course, not longer than 3 minutes at a time.
Nick's Work Office View #1: Here's my cube at work. The computer's cover is almost always off for convenience when adding, evaluating, removing new cards, hardware and stuff. The stack of equipment on the left is my current automation project. That's a 21" monitor, I am spoiled.
Nick's Work Office View #2: Here's another view of the cube at work. The cubical has a messy side and a less messy side as you can see.
The Kitchen Office: The kitchen nook is powered by my old Micron laptop with an external keyboard and mouse. Ro usually works on her journal in here. At first, Ro was resistant to having another computer in the house. We used WebVan, I convinced her that we needed a computer closer to the fridge.
Nick's Laptop Spot: I like to compute sitting yoga style. I made the little table which is built just for my sittin' height. Right now, the current laptop of choice is an HP Pavilion N5445. Everything I need is within arm's reach hence the clutter.
The Home Server Desk: The desk is in the same room as the laptop spot so Ro and I can compute together. This is where the bill payin, check printin' and book balancin' is done. The desk I made, houses our main server (also built by me), the network stack and three printers.
The Clean Kitchen Office: The photo and comment above "inspired" Ro and she insisted that I post a new picture. The flowers are Roses from our front yard.
The Living Room Office: A Palm IIIc and a GoType keyboard. It makes it easy to keep our DVD list updated.
An updated Home Office Shot: I got a burst of energy last weekend and added some shelves on the wall over the desk.
